About the Role
<p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcome and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.</span></p> <br> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor degree in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy degree from an accredited university with license to practice pharmacy in Alabama required; completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience strongly preferred. Proof of current AHA BLS must be provided or obtained by the end of the orientation period. </span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Experience: </strong>Completion of post graduate pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical practice strongly preferred.</span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Additional Skills/Abilities:</strong>Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
