Engineer

Engineer --Remote--

As part of WETO, you will work with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to design and implement industrial machinery and welded structures for the food-processing industry. This role combines hands-on mechanical design with practical engineering problem-solving and clear communication in a small team.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, plan work in clear stages, report progress reliably, and identify risks early—especially when input documentation is incomplete or requires clarification.

 

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical assemblies and welded structures in Autodesk
• Create and maintain 2D/3D technical documentation
• Analyze and optimize designs
• Collaborate with Procurement on component selection, materials and technical specifications

Must Have

• Bachelor Degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical field)
• 5+ years of experience in industrial mechanical design
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and technical drawing standards
• Ability to work independently: define stages, estimate effort realistically, and report status clearly

Nice to have

• Experience in food processing
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: CNC machining, welding, laser cutting
• Familiarity with P&ID and process/technology documentation
• Strong analytical skills
