The incumbent plans and conducts a variety of specifically assigned therapeutic activities, assessments, and interventions. Provides patient supervision and leadership of activities appropriate to the program involved. Activities are correlated with patient needs, are based on treatment plans and are designed to help achieve self-adjustment and clinical stabilization.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12.0px"><span style="font-family: Arial , Helvetica , sans-serif"><u><strong>DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></u><br />1. Plans and conducts a variety of specifically assigned patient activities appropriate to the designated program.<br />2. Provides leadership for one or more groups of patients during therapeutic activities program.<br />3. Evaluates patients&apos; capabilities and prepares recommendations on placement of patients in activity programs.<br />4. Assists in maintaining administrative and clinical records.<br />5. Requests supplies and equipment needed for assigned activities.<br />6. Provides individual instruction for patients as required.<br />7. Reports delays, discrepancies or any and all concerns immediately to the appropriate supervisor.<br />8. Performs all duties and activities per the Behavioral Health Policies and Procedures and facility Administrative Directives.<br />9. Maintains an orderly, clean and organized medication area at all times.<br />10. Maintains confidentiality of all patient records.<br />11. Attends unit meetings as directed.<br />12. Participates in Quality Assurance studies and meetings as requested or directed.<br />13. Approaches changes in a positive manner.<br />14. Gathers and collates pharmacy data for submission at CQI meetings. Completes outcome studies for CQI meetings to monitor contract compliance.<br />15.
