About the Role
Supply & Demand Planner The Supply & Demand Planner ensures the reliable availability of products in the German market by balancing demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supply constraints in a highly dynamic generics environment. This role covers both demand planning (accurate forecasting, tender volume preparation, and sales collaboration) and supply planning (stock replenishment, order management, and coordination with regional/global supply chain and manufacturing). The role is critical in securing uninterrupted product availability for wholesalers, pharmacies, and tenders, while minimizing write-offs and optimizing working capital. Key Responsibilities Demand Planning: Manage interactions with the logistical service provider Consolidate country-level sales forecasts by working closely with marketing, sales, and finance teams Ensure demand forecasts include tender volumes in coordination with sales and tender management, reflecting contract start dates, award probabilities, and expected consumption Analyze historical sales, seasonality, substitution risk, and competitor activities to create robust, data-driven demand forecasts Prepare forecast accuracy reports and highlight potential risks/opportunities to Head of Marketing & Sales Support the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process by presenting forecast assumptions, changes, and key insights Collaborate with finance to ensure forecast alignment with budget and financial projections Work with regulatory and portfolio teams to reflect launch timings, product discontinuations, or supply constraints in forecasts Supply Planning: Translate approved demand forecasts into local supply requirements Place replenishment orders with regional/global supply hubs or manufacturing sites based on demand signals and supply agreements Monitor inbound deliveries and proactively address delays, shortages, or overstock in collaboration with global supply chain counterparts Maintain target inventory levels to secure uninterrupted market supply while minimizing excess stock and write-offs, particularly for short-shelf-life products Coordinate product allocation during shortages, ensuring transparent communication with sales, wholesalers, and SHIs Monitor and manage tender supply commitments, ensuring adequate stock positioning to meet contractual volumes Track and report KPIs such as service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and days on hand Work closely with regulatory and quality teams to ensure product batch releases and certifications are aligned with supply needs Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around forecasting tools, supply processes, and planning accuracy What We Offer Employment contract Work in a modern, international pharmaceutical environment Hybrid or digital working model Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including: private medical care, Multisport subsidy, lunch card, life insurance, cafeteria system, Employee Pension Program (3.5% employer contribution), relocation package (if applicable), training and all necessary work tools, one additional day off per year. Strong focus on development and learning opportunities Qualifications & Experience University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field 3–6 years of professional experience in demand and/or supply planning; pharmaceutical or healthcare experience strongly preferred Solid knowledge of planning processes, preferably with exposure to S&OP frameworks Experience working with tender-driven products, volume fluctuations, and short lead times in the pharma/Generics industry is a strong asset Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel; familiarity with demand planning tools is a plus Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with both commercial and technical stakeholders Strong problem-solving mindset; proactive in managing risks and proposing solutions Drodzy Kandydaci i Kandydatki, Większość rozmów rekrutacyjnych przeprowadzamy zdalnie.
