It advises trustees and sponsoring employers on the full range of pensions issues, with particular expertise in pension de-risking, scheme governance, regulatory compliance, auto-enrolment, public sector pensions, and SIPP/SSAS products. The team is described by independent commentators as technically excellent, practical, and able to give clear, actionable advice. The Leeds team sits within a broader national practice, working closely with colleagues in corporate, finance, real estate, and disputes to provide integrated advice on the pensions aspects of major transactions, restructurings, and scheme changes. The practice is active, growing, and offers exposure to high-quality work from day one.The RoleAs a junior associate, you will work across a broad range of pensions matters, supporting partners and senior lawyers on advisory and transactional work. You will gain early exposure to trustee and employer clients, assisting with scheme documentation, regulatory issues, funding negotiations, and the pensions aspects of corporate deals.
