About the Role
Oracle EBS Technical Analyst
Location: London (3 Days per Week)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Analyst for a 6-month contract. This role will focus on providing functional support for Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, and E-Business Tax, ensuring operational efficiency and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support, rollouts, and enhancements for Oracle EBS Financial Modules, primarily General Ledger, Accounts Payables, and Fixed Assets.
Develop and execute test scripts and test scenarios for user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation.
Offer hands-on support for system design, configuration, and production support.
Provide training to business users to enhance their understanding of Oracle Financials.
Participate in Oracle EBS project implementations, rollouts, and ongoing enhancements.
Experience & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrable experience in the full life cycle implementation of Oracle Financials, especially General Ledger, Accounts Payables, and Fixed Assets.
Experience in system implementation and production support.
Strong preference for experience with Oracle EBTax.
Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and managing interface projects.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong skills in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Ability to explain technical issues to business users and vice versa.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Familiarity with Accounting Principles is a plus.
