What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and reviews of allegations of abuse concerning vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Participate in Strategy Meetings and Case Conferences, playing an integral role in shaping actionable protection plans.
• Develop and review protection plans, both independently and collaboratively, to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
• Manage some enquiries and assessments in service users’ own homes, and in residential care facilities, nursing homes, or hospitals.
• Handle safeguarding adults’ duty one day each week, providing an immediate response to urgent concerns.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

• Hold a degree or equivalent in social work.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Possess significant frontline experience in social services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
