About the Role
Position: HR & Operations Support Coordinator
Location: Portland, OR (On-Site)
Pay: up to $30 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Our Client:
A well-established industrial fabrication company seeking a highly organized and proactive HR & Operations Support Coordinator to support safety, compliance, and administrative functions across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives with autonomy, and brings a people-first, HR-minded approach to their work while supporting operations and project teams.
What You’ll Do:
Manage stormwater compliance tracking, inspections, and recordkeeping
Review and validate time entry for fabrication teams
Maintain maintenance logs and vehicle documentation
Provide administrative support to HR, Operations, and Project teams
Assist with onboarding-related documentation and HR support tasks
Help prepare and organize project submittals as needed
Maintain organized filing systems for compliance and operational records
Support OSHA, Fire Marshal, and environmental compliance documentation
Support audits, reporting, and internal documentation processes

What You Need to Have:
2+ years of experience in HR support, operations, administration, or related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
The Musts:
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Comfortable working on-site in an industrial/fabrication environment
Preferred:
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Knowledge of OSHA, Fire Marshal, or environmental compliance processes
Experience with certified payroll or prevailing wage (highly preferred)
Experience with timekeeping, payroll support, or QuickBooks
Familiarity with project submittals or construction documentation
