<h1>M&E Project Manager – London</h1> <h2>About Our Client</h2> Our client is a leading UK engineering and building services contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex mechanical and electrical projects across commercial, healthcare, transport, and public sector environments. Known for technical excellence, reliability, and long-term client partnerships, they are a trusted name in the UK construction and engineering industry. They are now seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their London team, taking responsibility for delivering high-value building services projects from inception through to completion. <h2>The Role</h2> As an M&E Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of multiple mechanical and electrical projects across London. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially successful project execution from pre-construction through to handover. You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Manage full lifecycle delivery of M&E projects </li> <li>Lead planning, procurement, and subcontractor management</li> <li>Oversee technical compliance including CDM regulations and RAMS</li> <li>Manage project finances including forecasting, valuations, and variations</li> <li>Maintain strong client relationships as key point of contact</li> <li>Coordinate design development and engineering delivery</li> <li>Ensure full health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance</li> <li>Produce and present regular project reporting and updates</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <ul> <li>Proven experience in M&E / Building Services project management</li> <li>Strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems</li> <li>Experience delivering commercial construction projects in the UK (London preferred)</li> <li>Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts</li> <li>Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Qualification in Building Services Engineering or related discipline (HNC/HND/Degree)</li> </ul> <h2>Package</h2> <ul> <li>Base Salary: £60,000 – £80,000</li> <li>Annual Bonus: 5% – 15% performance related</li> <li>Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays</li> <li>Option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days</li> <li>Additional service-related holiday progression (where applicable)</li> </ul> <h2>Additional Benefits</h2> <ul> <li>Competitive company pension (up to 8% employer contribution)</li> <li>Private healthcare cover</li> <li>Life assurance </li> <li>Car or travel allowance </li> <li>Flexible benefits package (gym, dental, cycle to work, etc.)</li> <li>Training, development, and structured career progression</li> </ul> WR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
