About the role   We’re looking for a seasoned, proactive Cyber Security Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our Security Operations team. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of our security tooling ecosystem—ensuring platforms are healthy, integrated, and delivering measurable operational value. You’ll work autonomously while driving improvements that strengthen our overall security posture.   Key responsibilities   Own and manage core security operations tools, ensuring deployment and configuration align with best practices. Maintain, patch, and continuously improve the security tools stack. Adjust configurations to support evolving integrations, automations, and strategic objectives. Build and maintain reporting on technical health (uptime, configuration, versioning) and operational usage. Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and technical references. Drive evolution initiatives such as new processes, automations, dashboards, and KPI frameworks. Enhance detection and investigation capabilities across Defender and other key platforms. Develop unified visibility into vulnerabilities and exposure across company assets.   Key technologies: Microsoft Security Suite (Sentinel, MDE, MDI, MDO, MCAS, Purview), Zscaler (Deception, ITDR, EASM), Rapid7, Nozomi, Torq.   Job requirements   Experience in cybersecurity operations (engineering background preferred). Strong hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR, and core security platforms. Proven track record maintaining and optimizing large-scale security tool deployments. Solid understanding of enterprise security tools and their integrations. Ability to build structured reporting and clear documentation. Excellent communication skills for cross‑team collaboration. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and structured thinking skills.
