<p><span style="font-size: 10pt">An established, global environmental consultancy are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join its growing team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career ecologist with at least one field season of experience to develop their skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt">Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering practical, innovative ecological solutions that balance development needs with the protection of biodiversity. <p><span style="font-size: 10pt">The Assistant Ecologist will support a range of ecological projects, including field surveys, data collection, reporting, and project coordination. Projects may span terrestrial, freshwater, coastal, and marine environments, helping clients navigate planning requirements while protecting habitats and species.</span></p>
</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt">Key responsibilities include;</span></strong></p>

<li data-section-id="p1bwqu" data-start="2248" data-end="2313"><span style="font-size: 10pt">Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies</span></li>
<li data-section-id="1pig59m" data-start="2314" data-end="2360"><span style="font-size: 10pt">Strong fieldwork and report-writing skills</span></li>
