Hackney Council is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join their Preparing for Adulthood service.
Rate: £36.00 per hour
Location: Hackney
Contract: Locum
Role Overview:
This is a senior-level position supporting young people transitioning into adulthood. You will provide leadership within the team, support complex casework, and ensure high-quality assessments and care planning are delivered in line with statutory duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting young people transitioning to adult services
* Overseeing complex cases and providing case direction
* Completing assessments and developing robust care plans
* Supporting and mentoring team members
* Working collaboratively with families and partner agencies
Requirements:
* Social Work England registration
* Experience within transitions / preparing for adulthood
* Previous senior or supervisory experience desirable
