If you want to work on meaningful AI projects, with space to grow and the freedom to innovate, you’ll feel right at home.</p><p>Feel invited!</p><h3>What you will do:</h3><ul><li><p>Work on greenfield project</p></li><li><p>Design and estimate features to be delivered by the team</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain the server-side logic of our applications using Java</p></li><li><p>Implement efficient and performant backend code for high-volume production applications</p></li><li><p>Monitor application health and reliability in production environment</p></li><li><p>Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment</p></li><li><p>Review and refactor code, establishing best practices for code hygiene and organization</p></li><li><p>Lead a team of experienced developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement</p></li><li><p>Identify and manage risks in regards to project deadlines and technical solutions</p></li></ul><h3>Experience and skills you need to join us:</h3><ul><li><p>5+ years of backend development experience in Java (Spring ecosystem)</p></li><li><p>2+ years of experience in Team Leader roles</p></li><li><p>Strong <strong>RESTful</strong> design and implementation skills. Experience with GraphQL considered as advantage</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience with <strong>message brokers</strong> (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and <strong>caching</strong> (e.g., Redis, Memcached)</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of <strong>patterns</strong> of <strong>distributed systems</strong> design</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>Change Data Capture (CDC)</strong> patterns and large-scale data migrations</p></li><li><p>Hands-on with <strong>NoSQL</strong> databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)</p></li><li><p>Expertise in performance <strong>troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging tools</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong style="font-weight:700;">authentication</strong> and <strong style="font-weight:700;">authorization mechanisms</strong></p></li><li><p>Skilled in <strong style="font-weight:700;">distributed systems</strong> challenges and <strong style="font-weight:700;">resilience patterns</strong> (e.g., circuit breakers)</p></li><li><p>Proficient with <strong style="font-weight:700;">code versioning tools</strong>, such as Git</p></li><li><p>Skilled in <strong style="font-weight:700;">CI/CD tools</strong> and practices</p></li><li style="margin:2px 0px;padding:0px;color:rgb(29, 28, 29);"><p><strong style="font-weight:700;">English: C1</strong></p></li><li style="margin:2px 0px;padding:0px;color:rgb(29, 28, 29);"><p>Strong understanding of Agile process, roles within the process and key ceremonies</p></li></ul><h3>It would be great if you also have:</h3><ul><li><p>Experience with API contract testing</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with federated GraphQL architectures</p></li></ul><h3><strong>How we work:</strong></h3><p>At Tooploox, you have the flexibility to choose your working hours and location.
