About the Role
About the role: Justteachers are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South warwickshire seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to start this September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is looking to make a genuine impact in a nurturing school environment. In this role you will provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND, due to the nature of this role the school are looking to appoint someone long term with the potential of going permanent. Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks Implement strategies outlined in the pupil’s EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents Support emotional regulation and social interaction Pre-requisites: Previous experience working with children with SEND (especially in a 1:1 capacity) A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3) is desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
