About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in the B29 area of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
The successful candidate will create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s early development through play-based and structured learning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leadership
Build positive relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
relevant EYFS qualification/Experience is essential
Experience teaching within EYFS
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A caring, patient and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
