Associate Marketing Manager<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><div><div><p><b><i>This role is located at our Corporate Office in Arden Hills, MN. The AMM will partner closely with cross functional teams to deliver commercial plans effectively. </p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities </b> </p><ul><li><p>Contribute to the development and execution of annual business objectives, strategies, and action plans, leading ongoing performance tracking, plan communication, and business reviews. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead ongoing portfolio management activities, including product renovation and innovation projects, packaging updates, and prioritization of key business initiatives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Partner with the field, RAM, and cross functional teams to gain market, industry, channel, and producer insights to populate marketing strategies and direction and ensure accurate tactical execution. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p> Coordinate with Income Optimization in the collection of competitive pricing to properly price/position branded products in the marketplace and accuracy of sales incentive points and hierarchy assignments on branded products </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage volume forecasts, financial targets, and marketing spend for the assigned portfolio through ongoing tracking, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advance commercialization through the Stage Gate / New Product Development process, driving coordination across internal divisions to support launch readiness and execution. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Contribute to broader Purina and Land O’Lakes marketing initiatives as needed. </p></li></ul><p></p><p> <b>Competencies-Skills (Required)</b> </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>2+ years of marketing, sales, or business experience </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate cross-functionally </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies-Skills (Preferred)</b> </p><ul><li><p>Experience or strong interest in dairy nutrition, young animal systems, or ingredient based businesses </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong interpersonal /relationship building skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong verbal and written skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Effective leadership, project management, and organizational skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Effective analytical, critical thinking and quantitative problem solving skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to deliver results from a cross-functional team in a positive manner </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Exposure to pricing, portfolio management, or commercialization activities </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with Stage Gate or new product development processes </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Customer facing or sales partnership experience </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Passion for agriculture and livestock production systems </p></li></ul><p></p><p>The salary range for this role is $107,680 - $161,520.
