About the Role
About the role: Justteachers is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team at a welcoming primary school in Fallowfield. The role is to begin in September on a full-time, temporary basis. The school promotes values such as respect, love and belonging while providing a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a pupil, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions. Support the pupil’s social, emotional and behavioural development, promoting independence and confidence. Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and staff. Pre-requisites: Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare or support setting. Good understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, ASD or behavioural needs. Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
