PRISM is seeking a focused Junior Applied AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will get a front-row seat to building and rolling out interactive engineering tools that leverage generative AI to automate workflows and optimize developer productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-On Platform Ownership: Drive the orchestration of leading commercial Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI tools for advanced code automation and internal business systems.
Tool Development: Build, iterate, and deploy interactive, cutting-edge internal engineering tools from inception to production.
Dedicated Mentorship: Work hand-in-hand with senior technical leadership, giving you elite exposure to enterprise software architecture, multi-cloud platforms, and secure AI implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION)
We are fully open to backgrounds in Model Simulation, Software Engineering, Gaming Engineering, or Data Engineering, provided you bring a passion for execution:
Experience: 1–3 years of professional engineering enterprise experience, OR a track record of high-impact technical internships, or extensive, complex home-lab environments.
Language Agnostic: Strong programmatic fundamentals matter more than specific syntax. Backgrounds in Python, C++, C#, Java, or game engines (Unity/Unreal) are all highly valued.
LLM (Claude, OpenAI, Llama, or similar models)
U.S. Citizenship is required. Due to federal government security clearance requirements

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance OR the ability to obtain.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Past experience implementing AI platforms and practices
