About the Role
Location: Central Belt (between Glasgow & Edinburgh) Contract Type: Permanent, Full‑Time Hours: 40 hours per week Base: Bellshill (ML4)About the Role: We are seeking motivated Mobile Water Treatment Technicians (T1 & T3) to join our clients team supporting water hygiene and treatment services across the Central Belt of Scotland. This mobile role involves travelling between sites to deliver planned and remedial works, ensuring compliance with current water safety regulations and industry standards.You will work closely with schedulers, administrators and the technical team to deliver high‑quality service, maintain accurate records and represent the organisation professionally on client sites.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using appropriate tools and systemsComplete tasks including:Temperature monitoringShowerhead descalesCold water storage tank inspections and cleansCooling tower cleans and disinfectionsTMV servicingWater samplingMaintain and update site L8 logbooks where acting as the primary technicianComplete work reports accurately and on time (via day work sheets or Planon)Undertake remedial works following quoted tasksWork collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient service deliveryUphold high standards of customer service and professionalismParticipate in two corporate social responsibility days per yearWhat We’re Looking ForRelevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ or SVQ aligned to the appropriate technician tierPost‑qualification experience in water hygiene or water treatmentUp‑to‑date knowledge of:Water Supply Regulations/ByelawsL8 ACOPHSG274Other relevant industry guidanceStrong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skillsGood interpersonal and communication abilitiesValid UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and manage workload across multiple sitesWhat We OfferCompany vehicle for business useFuel cardBenefits packageFull training and development supportOpportunity to work across a varied portfolio of sitesIf you’re a proactive technician with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safe, compliant water hygiene practices, we’d love to hear from you.The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
