<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>This role involves preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility infrastructure during the morning shift to maximize uptime, ensure safety, and enhance operational efficiency.</p>
<p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>· Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems (PLCs, VFDs, CNC machines) on industrial equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools.</p>
<p>· Performing inspections, adjustments, and calibrations to bring machinery back to manufacturer specifications after breakdowns or during preventive maintenance.</p>
<p>· Utilizing hand/power tools, welding/cutting gear, and precision instruments while strictly adhering to lock-out/tag-out, OSHA, NFPA, and arc-flash safety procedures.</p>
<p>· Managing facility systems such as HVAC, compressed air, power distribution, plumbing, lighting, and outdoor surroundings; clearing snow/ice and conducting minor repairs as necessary.</p>
<p>· Accurately documenting all work orders in the CMMS, tracking parts, time, and tasks; overseeing and assessing third-party contractors.</p>
<p>· Promptly addressing breakdowns, emergency repairs, and scheduled maintenance while delivering safety and equipment procedure training to team members.</p>
<p>· Maintaining building structures, fabricating basic components, and upholding 5S standards in the maintenance area.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<p>High-school diploma or GED required; associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience or equivalent education/training. Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with PLCs/VFDs/hydraulics/pneumatics, and schematic reading ability are essential. Forklift/crane and EPA 608 certifications (training provided) are mandatory.</p>
<p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p>
<p>Regular standing, heavy lifting, climbing, and exposure to moving mechanical parts in a moderate-noise manufacturing setting. Occasional off-hours call-ins and overtime required. Reasonable accommodations available.</p>
