Rent Setting Team Leader Remote / Manchester Temporary Full Time A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Rent Setting professional to lead a high-performing team, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across rent and service charge functions within a forward-thinking Housing Association. This role offers remote working with 2 anchor days per month in Manchester. THE ROLE You will lead the Rent Setting function, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering an efficient, accurate, and customer-focused rent service that supports wider business objectives. Manage and develop the Rent Setting team to meet performance targets and service standards Ensure rent setting complies with current regulatory and statutory guidance Lead on the annual rent review process and rent setting for secure tenancies Drive service transformation, identifying efficiencies and improving processes Oversee housing and finance system interfaces, ensuring accurate data reconciliation Support the implementation and optimisation of ActiveH rent and service charge modules Ensure accurate and timely posting of rent transactions and maintenance of tenant accounts THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar rent setting or rent accounting leadership role within housing or a related sector. Strong experience managing and developing staff within a finance or housing function Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detail Experience using housing management and finance systems Ability to plan, prioritise and adapt within a changing environment THE CONTRACT WORKING HOURS Full Time LENGTH OF CONTRACT 6 Month Contract RATE The pay for the role is £24.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £20.46 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
