Production Supervisor, Worksop

Production Supervisor needed in Worksop S80!   We are currently recruiting for an experienced production supervisor on a permanent basis for our busy client based in Worksop!   Key responsibilities: Ensure safe and efficient flow of work across production Prioritise and coordinate work between teams and locations. Monitor inventory, materials, and scrap levels. Lead and control continuous improvement activities. Oversee safety, performance, and wellbeing of employees. Maintain standards such as 5S, TPM, and AS9000 quality requirements. Work with the Operations Manager to set objectives and understand production needs. Supervise and evaluate production staff performance. Monitor materials issued to work orders and coordinate with purchasing to keep MRP updated. Communicate with different departments to ensure smooth order processing. Support employee training and cross-skilling with the Training Manager. Develop and follow production plans while proactively planning labour needs. Train and develop employees when required. Follow company health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures. Carry out additional reasonable tasks as required.   About the role: Hours of work- 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm Salary to be discussed during interview Planning and purchasing experience are desirable Previous experience working within management is essential May require travelling to other sites as per business needs Permanent contract
