IT Support Engineer Hereford (On-site) £28,000 - £35,000 A growing technology business based in Hereford is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on support across a range of systems, users and technologies. This is a fully onsite role where you'll be a key part of the internal IT function, supporting users, maintaining systems and helping to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. The role: You'll be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Providing helpdesk support and managing incoming IT tickets Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues Supporting Microsoft 365 environments (including email and user management) Working with Active Directory / Azure AD Assisting with system configuration, installation and testing Monitoring systems and supporting network operations Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket updates Supporting users with varying levels of technical ability Assisting with IT equipment, asset tracking and general administration Collaborating with internal teams and supporting wider business needs You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in new technologies, system improvements and ongoing projects. About you: Previous experience in an IT support / service desk role Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop and user environments Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments Familiarity with Active Directory (or Azure AD) Good communication skills and a user-focused approach Able to work independently and as part of a team Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Any experience with networking tools, security systems or monitoring platforms would be beneficial, but not essential.
