About the Role
BettingJobs are working with an up-and-coming B2C and B2B company who are developing their own sportsbook platform. They are looking for a Java Developer to be based remotely.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions for the gambling Platform.
Create solutions to ingest and analyse betting data for our gambling platform.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Take ownership of your work as a product engineer, influencing both technical direction and product design.
The ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities in collaboration with peers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3-4+ years of experience in software development.
Solid technical expertise and experience in Java development, system & data architecture, distributed computing & storage, messaging services, caches and performance tuning.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with Mysql or other relational databases.
Nice to have:
Experience in the gambling industry.
Experience collaborating and driving initiatives across globally distributed teams
