Reporting & Analytics Engineer - Power BI | Data Fabric | Modern Analytics

Contract: 3 months | Start: Immediate | Location: UK-based, Hybrid / Onsite | Inside IR35

We're seeking an experienced Reporting & Analytics Engineer with strong Microsoft Power BI expertise and a solid understanding of modern data architecture, including Data Fabric and Data Products.

You'll design and deliver scalable BI and analytics solutions, working closely with business and technical teams to enable self-service analytics, data democratization and enterprise-wide insights.

Key requirements:

• Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including semantic models, datasets and dashboard development.
• Strong SQL skills and preferably Python.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Good understanding of Data Fabric, Data Products, data modelling and modern analytics architectures.
• Experience with data governance, quality, lineage, cataloguing and security.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or similar cloud data platforms.
• Exposure to Promethium or AI-enabled analytics/query platforms is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills.
