About the Role
We are currently looking for an Mechanical Technician to join a growing accommodation division, supporting the maintenance and servicing of welfare trailers and site equipment.
This is a hands-on role offering strong earning potential, where you’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for hire.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out repairs and servicing on welfare trailers, small generators, and 12V heating systems
Inspecting and calibrating equipment to ensure full functionality
Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs
Maintaining equipment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance
Preparing welfare units and trailers for hire
What We’re Looking For
Good knowledge of mechanical systems
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance / Mechanics (ideal)
Previous experience working on trailers, welfare units, or similar equipment (desirable)
Experience with diesel engines or small plant equipment (advantageous)
Experience with solar equipment (advantageous)
Ability to follow health & safety procedures in a busy environment
A proactive team player with a flexible approach
Full UK driving licence (desirable)
