<p>An established industrial automation organization is seeking an <strong>Electrical / Controls Engineer </strong>to support the design, development, and commissioning of control systems for complex industrial equipment. This role offers a blend of design, programming, and hands-on field support in a project-driven environment.</p> <p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p> <p>A competitive compensation and benefits package is offered, which may include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</p> </li> <li> <p>Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options</p> </li> <li> <p>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage</p> </li> <li> <p>Life and AD&amp;D insurance options</p> </li> <li> <p>Critical illness and accident coverage</p> </li> <li> <p>401(k) with company match</p> </li> <li> <p>Paid time off</p> </li> <li> <p>Company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE)</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Design electrical control systems, including schematics, layouts, cable and conduit plans, MCC specifications, and lighting designs</p> </li> <li> <p>Program, configure, and integrate PLCs (MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and HMIs (RSView Studio)</p> </li> <li> <p>Test, commission, and troubleshoot control systems both in-house and at customer sites</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide technical support for installed systems, remotely and on-site</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, sales, and panel fabrication</p> </li> <li> <p>Support equipment selection, cost estimating, and procurement activities</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging automation technologies</p> </li> <li> <p>Travel domestically and internationally as required</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned<strong></strong></p> </li> </ul> <p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience programming PLCs and developing HMIs; Allen-Bradley platforms preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in electrical schematic design using AutoCAD, with hands-on wiring experience</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven learning mindset</p> </li> <li> <p>Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems with practical, hands-on troubleshooting experience</p> </li> </ul> <p><p><strong>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Primarily office-based with regular time spent in manufacturing and customer site environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to perform hands-on troubleshooting and equipment support</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable working in industrial settings with noise and odors</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</p> </li> <li> <p>Visual acuity and physical mobility are required for inspections and installations, including bending, kneeling, and squatting<strong></strong></p> </li> </ul> <p><span class="hidden">6737</span></p>
