Full time Household Assistant Job, Chelsea.
A highly accomplished CEO and mother of four is seeking a proactive and highly organised Household Assistant to support both her private household and selected professional responsibilities.
This is a junior-to-mid level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in private household and executive support. The role blends hands-on household coordination with administrative assistance across selected business matters.
The successful candidate will help create structure, calm, and operational efficiency within a dynamic, child-centred home while also gaining exposure to corporate processes and executive-level support.
Key Responsibilities
Private Household & Family Support
Assist in coordinating day-to-day household operations
Liaise with household staff (nannies, tutors, housekeepers, drivers)
Help manage schedules for four children (school, activities, appointments)
Support event planning (birthdays, holidays, guests)
Track expenses, invoices, and basic household budgeting
Assist with vendor coordination and service appointments
Help ensure the home environment runs smoothly and proactively
Calendar & Travel Coordination
Support management of the Principal’s personal calendar
Assist in aligning family and professional commitments
Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics
Prepare itineraries, confirmations, and travel documentation
Executive & Administrative Support
Provide ad hoc administrative support for meetings and projects
Assist with preparing briefing documents and follow-up actions
Help coordinate communications with internal and external stakeholders
Support personal administration tasks (appointments, documentation, filings)
The ideal candidate will be child friendly, experienced with working within a family environment and private household, with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience. This is the perfect role for someone who is highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and someone who is emotionally intelligent and self-motivated. This a great opportunity for a candidate who is eager to grow into a more senior support role over time.
Start date: As soon as possible
Working week: Monday – Friday
Core working hours: 9am – 6pm
Starting salary: £40k - £60k depending on experience
