Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AP/AR Representative to join our collaborative team. This individual will be responsible for managing payables and receivables, performing account reconciliations, maintaining accurate records in the general ledger, and supporting best accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in both accounts payable and receivable and be proficient with QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform regular account reconciliations and assist with general ledger maintenance
Monitor and analyze P&L reports, identifying discrepancies or inaccurate coding
Ensure compliance with best accounting practices and company policies
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting as needed
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable required
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices
QuickBooks experience is a must for some opportunities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to spot and correct coding or categorization errors
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a flexible, supportive environment
Work Environment & Schedule:
Monday through Friday schedule with flexible hours
One weekend per month required
30–40 hours per week, based on business needs
