A primary school in Bingley is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support for a Year 4 pupil with behavioural needs. This will be on a full time basis from September 2026.
About the role: The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure the pupil can access learning successfully and develop positive relationships within school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with behavioural needs.
- Implement behaviour strategies and support plans.
- Promote emotional regulation and positive social interactions.
- Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.
Pre-requisites:
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
