Senior Data & AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Yukawa is seeking a Senior Data and AI Engineer to design data architectures, deliver scalable data architectures, advanced analytics, and build AI applications such as predictive forecasting and machine automation. You will work on innovative projects combining AI, IoT, and cloud technologies, helping clients in different industries turn data into actionable intelligence.

• Design and implement scalable data architectures and ML pipelines
• Develop AI models for forecasting, control, and optimization
• Build and deploy AI-powered APIs and microservices in production
• Conduct data analysis and feature engineering for customer projects
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define data and AI solutions
• Apply best practices in MLOps, experiment tracking, and model lifecycle management

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering
• Experience in consulting or software development projects
• Strong Python skills e. g. with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Data engineering experience with e. g. Pandas, NumPy, Spark, MLflow
• Deployment knowledge e.g. with FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, ONNX
• Data management experience using PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MinIO, or Data Lakes
• Familiarity with Airflow and Grafana for MLOps and monitoring
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Agile mindset and hands-on approach
• Residence in Germany required
