About the role:
Justteachers are seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join a well‑regarded Secondary School in the Lincoln area full‑time from April 2026. This role is well suited to a passionate teacher with experience delivering RE across KS3–KS4. The school is supportive and welcoming to new staff, with regular opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and share best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured RE lessons to mixed‑ability groups
- Support students to develop critical thinking and respectful discussion
- Keep records of progress and implement agreed learning support strategies
- Promote inclusion and help pupils develop confidence in their learning
Pre-requisites:
- Relevant experience teaching RE or similar within a secondary school setting
- A calm, patient and resilient approach, with the ability to remain composed during challenges
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, parents and wider staff
- A sound understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and behaviour management
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Provide two education‑based references from the last two years
