Digital Enterprise Engineer

Sterling Heights, MI

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive development and expansion of the Integrated Digital Enterprise Environment (IDEE) by integrating engineering, IT, and enterprise systems.

  • Collaborate across engineering functions to capture system requirements, define software interactions, and improve data connectivity.

  • Develop and implement digital threads between Authoritative Sources of Truth (ASoTs) to enhance traceability and decision-making.

  • Automate manual processes where feasible; document new workflows and integrations.

  • Identify risks and gaps in IDEE development and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Support and refine IDEE roadmap and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Operate in an agile development environment, adapting to evolving needs and technologies.

  • Evaluate system integrations, virtualization strategies, and storage solutions to support IDEE growth.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Computer Science/Data Science with relevant experience).

  • 7+ years of experience in an engineering role with a systems engineering mindset.

  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo/MagicDraw or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Design (MBD) principles and digital engineering applications.

  • Experience building or contributing to digital ecosystems and digital threads.

  • Understanding of engineering domains across hardware, software, and test environments.

  • Ability to assess system gaps, define integration requirements, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a digital vision and document technical solutions.

  • Strong knowledge management and technical facilitation skills.

  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

  • Travel and on-site work may be required depending on project needs.
