A leading sustainable manufacturing organization is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Specialist to join their team in Guelph, Ontario. This role offers the opportunity to advance a culture of safety while contributing to a company recognized for putting people and sustainability first. The Role As the Health & Safety Specialist, you will support multiple manufacturing sites by leading health and safety initiatives, conducting risk analyses, and driving continuous improvement in compliance and workplace safety. You will provide hands-on guidance to site leadership and employees, ensuring that proactive safety practices are embedded across all operations. Key Responsibilities Lead risk assessments, audits, and inspections, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Develop, deliver, and monitor health and safety training programs for managers and employees at all levels. Manage incident investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence and promote a learning culture. Oversee PPE management, emergency response planning, and implementation of safety projects. Prepare reports and performance metrics, communicating key results to management and stakeholders. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or an industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and its plant-level application. Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, safety auditing, and incident management. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with rigor and attention to detail.
