Zest Optical are currently working with an independent Opticians based in Bedlington to recruit a part-time Optometrist. Optometrist – The Role Part-time position – 2 days per week (ideally Monday and Friday) Practice open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm No weekends, late nights or bank holidays 30-minute testing times to provide patients with a thorough and personal service Equipped with an Auto Refractor and DRS Fundus Camera Supportive, experienced team and a friendly patient base Independent practice focused on quality rather than volume Optometrist – Requirements Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Passionate about delivering high-quality eye care Strong communication and patient interaction skills Ability to commit to the agreed 2-day schedule Optometrist – Package Part-time role, 2 days a week (Monday and Friday ideally) Working hours 9am–5:30pm No weekends, late nights or bank holidays Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Supportive independent practice with modern equipment
