Suffolk - Team Manager - MASH

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Manager for the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Suffolk, who will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a key leader in this dynamic environment, you will oversee a team of qualified social workers and support staff, ensuring that all cases are managed effectively and in accordance with statutory requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.
• Coordinating multi-agency responses to safeguarding concerns, promoting effective partnership working.
• Providing supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Managing complex cases and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
• Contributing to the strategic development of MASH services and improving practice standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in social work, particularly within child protection and safeguarding.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in team management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
