Job Title: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
Location: Lorain, OH 44053 (On-site)
Pay Rate: $74.87/hr
Contract Length: Contract to hire
Overview
A-Line Staffing is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to support a location in Lorain, OH. This is an in-person, patient-facing role. Candidates must have prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience (please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement).
What You’ll Do
- Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management plans
- Perform routine exams and support positive patient health outcomes
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness
- Support chronic condition management, screenings, and preventive care
- Complete administrative clinic duties including opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification/payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment
- Collaborate with a clinical care team to drive quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as an NP in Primary Care / Family Medicine / Urgent Care
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Ohio (active, in good standing, no current or prior disciplinary actions)
- Master’s degree from an FNP program + current National Board Certification
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC)
- Must be willing to complete fingerprinting
- DEA registration application may be required during onboarding
- Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment
Schedule / Hours
- Clinic hours include: Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sun 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Expect rotating shifts and every other weekend (possible holiday rotation)
