About the role: Justteachers are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a specialist school in Coventry . This rewarding opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential. The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties. Key responsibilities: Providing one-to-one and small group support. Supporting pupils with personalised learning plans. Promoting emotional wellbeing and independence. Using positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques. Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and therapists. Monitoring pupil progress and providing regular feedback. Pre-requisites: Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs. A calm, patient and resilient approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to individual pupil needs. Relevant qualifications or SEND experience are desirable.
