SEN Classroom Support Worker – Northampton

About the role:

Justteachers is looking for a dedicated SEN Classroom Support Worker to join a specialist school in Northampton. Starting in September 2026, this full-time position involves supporting pupils with complex learning needs to access education in a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils during lessons and structured activities
• Assist with communication and learning development
• Encourage positive social interactions
• Support teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
• Contribute to pupil progress reviews

Pre-requisites:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
