Interim Accountant

I am pleased to be partnering with an established international organisation based in Cambridge who are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their global finance team on a fixed term contract for 1 year. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting month-end processes, international reporting, and year-end statutory accounts.Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and overseas offices. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end processes including journals, reconciliations and cost analysis.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets.Review monthly financial reports from international offices.Manage intercompany reconciliations and quarterly adjustments.Assist with consolidated reporting for senior leadership.Support statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes.Assist with budgets and forecasts. About YouStrong finance background – preferably within an international businessPart-qualified / finalist (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systemsOrganised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.Confident communicator with strong attention to detail. What’s on OfferSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications1 year fixed term contractCentral Cambridge based role with hybrid flexibility – minimum of 50% in office after an initial training period.Broad exposure to international finance operations.Supportive and collaborative team environment. For more information or to apply, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
