Providing pathways to successful careers – Return to Practice

Cornwall Council is pleased to support Return to Practice. This is for former professionals who would like to get back to work after a career break. We can arrange training for you to refresh your skills.

We would like to discuss the best programme for you. Which may include one of the following opportunities:

• A work taster - a part-time, flexible work experience arrangement. This is an unpaid placement with training and support
• A planned structured programme to re-register with the professional body. This is an unpaid placement with training and support
• A fixed term contract in a support role. This will be paid work whilst undertaking a structured programme to re-register. This combines a programme of training and support (dependent upon current job vacancies)

The Council acknowledges the benefits of the Return to Practice career pathway. It can help enable people with previous experience, skills and new perspectives to join our organisation.
