Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Team Lead for the Material Planning division. In this role, you will oversee the European Material Planning team, ensuring the timely procurement of raw and packaging materials to support production in the Netherlands and Germany. Your leadership will help optimize supply processes, maintain strong supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage a team of three material planners responsible for end to end ordering of raw and packaging materials.
-Monitor and optimize inventory levels and working capital.
-Forecast material requirements aligned with production schedules and adjust plans as needed.
-Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve issues, and handle purchase complaints.
-Maintain accurate order and invoice control processes.
-Develop the team through coaching and performance management.
-Oversee KPIs such as supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF) and inventory values.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
-Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in supply planning or ERP planning.
Strong knowledge of supply chain and production processes.
-Proficiency in SAP is essential.
-Fluent in Dutch and English; German language skills are a plus.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Proactive, results driven, and focused on operational excellence.
