Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: ASAP - Preferably 6 months, but 3 months would be acceptable if needed. Part time is acceptable but must be on fixed days.
Clearance: SC/DV preferred/Will accept DBS – must be willing & eligible for SC/DV
Technical Skills
• AWS expertise – The role’s biggest priority is building out the AWS low-side environment.
• Terraform – Essential for infrastructure as code.
• Ansible – Required and used alongside Terraform.
• DevOps experience – Strong hands on DevOps capability is crucial (GitLab experience is a bonus).
• Kubernetes – Preferable (used on the high-side on prem environment), but not essential.
• Strong coding skills – The person must be hands on, writing infrastructure code themselves.
Experience
• Previous experience delivering hybrid infrastructure projects.
• Consulting or contractor background preferred (comfortable hitting the ground running).
• Comfortable teaching and upskilling more junior engineers
