Insurance Advisor

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established SME insurance business based in Bude as they look to welcome a new full-time Insurance Advisor to their team. This is a company that genuinely puts customer service at the heart of everything they do, offering a personal, dependable service without chatbots or call centres. Their modern, open-plan office provides a friendly and collaborative environment with private parking on site.

This full-time role offers a salary between £26,000 and £32,000 and comes with a strong benefits package which includes 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, a day off on your birthday, the opportunity to gain up to five additional days’ holiday with length of service, the option to buy or sell leave, and full support towards professional qualifications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy role and enjoys helping people. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through their insurance needs and ensuring they receive a smooth and reassuring experience. The position provides a great mix of consistency and variety, with most of your work centred around renewals alongside occasional new enquiries. There are no sales targets, allowing you to focus on genuine conversations and high-quality service. Although the role is fully office-based, the team is flexible when it comes to appointments and personal commitments.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in insurance, customer service or administration (ideally in a fast-paced environment)

• Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly approach

• Good attention to detail and confidence using computer systems

• A team-focused mindset and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service

In this role, you’ll be managing enquiries, updating policies and maintaining accurate information within the Open GI system. You will be joining a supportive team made up of colleagues of varied ages and backgrounds who enjoy working collaboratively and creating a positive environment.
