Site manager - Belfast - Demo/Brickwork

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading facilities management company to recruit a Site Manager for a short-term project on a prestigious building. This role will oversee the safe removal of an existing parapet wall and the construction of a new structure on a live site. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site coordination, contractor management, and ensuring all works are delivered safely and to specification. The Role Manage day-to-day site operations for the removal and reconstruction of a parapet wall Oversee appointed contractors including scaffolding and specialist subcontractors Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations Supervise works at height and enforce safe working practices Coordinate site schedules and maintain progress against programme Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met Liaise with project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates What you will need Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction or refurbishment projects Strong background or understanding of brickwork and masonry Experience managing works at height Valid SMSTS/SSSTS and relevant site safety certifications (preferred) Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site safety standards What's on offer Competitive contract rate Opportunity to manage a focused project on a prestigious site Support from established contractors and project teams To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Ruairi McCann, Recruitment Manager at Vickerstock 02890 313720 Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
