Home / Career / SENIOR AI PROJECT MANAGER SENIOR AI PROJECT MANAGER Apply Now SENIOR AI PROJECT MANAGER Apply Now COUNTRY Costa Rica FORMAT Remote Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior AI Project Manager for a full-time remote position (40 hours per week) in Costa Rica. Our client is a designs and develops digital experiences for startups and enterprise clients by combining cutting-edge technologies and innovative methods to create exceptional user experiences, leveraging Generative AI to enhance daily business operations.  This role is focused on leading the delivery of AI and automation projects for mid-market and enterprise clients. You will lead delivery on fast-moving AI implementation projects. It requires someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams, and keeping teams moving as requirements evolve. You will work closely with senior technical leaders, engineers, and clients to plan, execute, and deliver AI-enabled systems on aggressive timelines. The focus is on real delivery and outcomes, not just process.  REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience in managing software delivery projects, ideally within consulting, agency, or client-facing environments. Experience working on AI or generative AI-related initiatives, or the ability to quickly ramp up on technical concepts and work closely with engineering teams. Hands-on experience in the use of AI tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency. Strong understanding of agile delivery methods, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches. Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Tempo, Linear, or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead client discussions and document plans clearly. Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous environments and make decisions with incomplete information. Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing demands. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead project delivery end-to-end, from kickoff through launch and post go-live support. Structure work into small, fast-moving delivery cycles aligned to an 8 to 12 week implementation model. Manage multiple client projects and workstreams while maintaining visibility, quality, and clear communication. Partner with senior stakeholders and clients to align on scope, priorities, and trade-offs. Anticipate risks, remove blockers, and keep engineering teams focused on high-value work. Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to accelerate planning, documentation, and communication. Track project budgets, hours, and resource allocation, and flag risks early. Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients, setting expectations and escalating when required. Apply agile principles pragmatically, adapting the process to suit the project and delivery goals. NICE TO HAVE: Scrum Master or PMP certification. Experience working with clients in retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
