Back in 2009 I started my career at care south, I had a drive and a passion for caring for people in the community and really wanting to improve the lives our the clients. After 9 years of being a care assistant I thought let me further my skills and knowledge and see what else Care South can offer me, I attended an interview for a senior position and was given the role of a senior carer. In 2023 I had the opportunity to excel myself again and become the deputy manager for care south at home, I have had 16 amazing years at care south I have seen myself grow and for that I am proud.

I joined Care South in 2005 as a Specialist Team Supervisor, later becoming a Trainer for 13 years. After returning in 2021 as an L&D Business Partner, I focused on dementia care, which led to my promotion to Group Dementia Lead. I also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Person-Centred Dementia Care with Worcester University.
