Operating globally, our 6000+ specialists provide a full spectrum of services, including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and Ul design, managed services, product development, and software development. <br></p><p><strong><em>This is the job</em></strong><br></p><p>Within the healthcare technology domain, we are actively seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of a software platform used by healthcare providers (doctors, clinics, hospitals) to improve patient care and streamline operational processes.</p><p>The product focuses on helping medical professionals identify important care actions in real time (e.g., follow-ups, screenings, documentation) and align clinical workflows with reimbursement requirements.</p><p>This is a domain-driven role at the intersection of backend development and healthcare data integration, where understanding of EHR systems and interoperability standards plays a key role.</p><p><strong><em><br>This is you</em></strong></p><ul><li><p>Solid experience in software development (Python or other modern programming languages)</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with healthcare data integrations (EHR/EMR systems)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with interoperability standards such as FHIR and/or HL7</p></li><li><p>Experience working with APIs and data exchange between systems</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a product-oriented or client-facing environment</p></li><li><p>English B2+ and strong communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to navigate complex domains</p></li></ul><p>Nice-to-have skills:</p><ul><li><p>Experience working with Epic, eClinicalWorks, or other major EHR platforms</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of US healthcare domain and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA)</p></li><li><p>Experience with real-time data processing or event-driven architectures</p></li><li><p>Background in healthcare analytics, clinical workflows, or medical data systems</p></li></ul><p><strong><em>This is your role</em></strong></p><ul><li><p>Design and implement backend solutions supporting healthcare workflows</p></li><li><p>Integrate external EHR systems and ensure reliable data exchange</p></li><li><p>Work with structured and semi-structured medical data</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features</p></li><li><p>Contribute to system reliability, scalability, and performance</p></li></ul><p> <strong><em>What awaits you at Avenga?</em></strong></p><p><em>At Avenga, everyone matters.
