<p>Our client is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their team in Columbia, MD. This role will involve working on complex, enterprise-scale systems within a high-security environment.</p>
<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>
<p>The primary responsibilities of this position include developing, maintaining, and enhancing sophisticated software systems. These systems range from processing-intensive analytics to real-time platforms and enterprise management solutions.</p>
<p>The Software Engineer II will collaborate with team members and work independently to design, test, and refine mission-critical software components.</p>
<p>Core Duties</p>
<p>• Create and improve complex software systems<br />• Interpret documented requirements and turn them into functional designs<br />• Test software components to ensure they meet specifications<br />• Resolve software defects and production issues<br />• Provide insights on hardware/software trade-offs<br />• Assess options for COTS/GOTS integration versus custom development<br />• Assist with requirements analysis and decomposition</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>• Previous experience in secure, large-scale enterprise environments<br />• Excellent analytical and debugging skills<br />• Able to support production systems effectively</div>
