Science Technician

A well-equipped secondary school is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Science Technician to support its busy Science department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role behind the scenes, ensuring practical lessons run smoothly and safely. You’ll be supporting teachers and students by preparing equipment, maintaining resources, and helping bring Science to life in the classroom.

The Role

As a Science Technician, you will:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical Science lessons
• Support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics activities across KS3 and KS4
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, stored, and maintained correctly
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Assist teachers during practical sessions where required
• Manage stock, order supplies, and keep records up to date

You’ll play a vital role in making sure lessons run efficiently and safely.
